Intricacies of change
Yes, it has been a while since I last wrote on here, despite my attempt at writing often. Why? The answer is a predictable one. Life has sucked my juice out of me. It’s not that I haven’t been inspired or dedicated time and effort to some of my hobbies and goals, but there’s a part of me that has been getting quieter, even from before I started writing. And yet, that is the part of me that is more interesting when writing, if not to the reader, to the observer who writes. I’ll lay it out simply: since I began teaching at a lower level, I have felt my desire and desirability banish. My job is fulfilling in many ways, but that side effect is terrible and I haven’t found out how to get a different result yet.
However, this doesn’t mean I will stop trying. I never stop. Never.
