New models for life
Years pass by and society changes, the world morphs, and it seems it all happens fast now that I have years to look back at. And yet, there are places and people who stay the same and maintain old standards, habits and expectations.
I’m literally and figuratively at a place where I find that I need other stories about life to be mainstream. It’s not that I’m uncomfortable because I have different goals, but because the models I’m led into by my peers and older ones do not work and will not work in any way: they won’t result in a healthy middle and old age, prosperous intellectually, emotionally, spiritually and physically. (Maybe I want too much, but I’ll try my best at my only one!)
Although I’m aware I’m not alone in thinking this way, it’s hard to come across people who live differently, have other dreams and lifestyles and are loudly creating more modern realities. Where are you, pals?
I guess what I mean is that I’m looking out the window, seeing the shadows of people flying, and wondering where to go to meet them.
Consider yourselves waved at.
Stay colourful!
xoxo
