noun [mass noun ] the state of having mixed feelings or contradictory ideas about something or someone.
Oxford Dictionary of English
On a Saturday morning of a bank holiday. It’s pouring rain outside. I’m back and I’m wondering about the effect of the environment over our internal circumstances. I imagine that sometimes there’s the option of feeling in different ways about the same simple things. This means that there’s a choice you might be able to make, but also that there are simultaneous feelings you can pay attention to. Is there a third option?
Maybe ambivalence can turn into one thing. Into transformation.
I’ll leave you with that thought.
Stay colourful, or messy, or foolish!
